BoundOrUnboundCursor

A Bound cursor is bound to exist only on actual characters.

An unBound cursor is able to move all around the screen, even into spaces where no data exists.

Most editors (especially those based on Windows CUA) use Bound Cursors.

Some TextEditors (such as TPU) offer both styles to programmers.

Still others allow motion anywhere on the page (e.g. XEDIT or ISPF).

This is one of the HolyWars!
