CP-Edit is a full-screen text editor which is patterned after several IBM 360/370 family large-computer editors, most notably XEDIT (but including its ancestors, CMS EDIT, NEDIT, CEDIT, EDGAR, SEDIT, the ISPF editor). With its default settings, it most resembles XEDIT running with a PROFILE which makes it look a bit like the ISPF editor. In most cases, where defaults differ from those of XEDIT, the settings can be changed to the XEDIT defaults.

CP-Edit is available for DOS and OS/2, and AIX for the IBM RS/6000.
