While many text editors for 8-bit Atari used commands available under Ctrl+key keystrokes, Cheops' Writer used menu system similar to Lotus 1-2-3 (menu was displayed on the first three lines on screen), which means that this editor could me used even by new users (and without manual/cheat sheet).

Other good thing - in word processor mode it was possible to create documents with 60 or more characters per line. The editor itself used mode with 40 characters per line, but it was possible to use Preview when whole page is displayed (in 320x192 monochrome graphics mode).
