JOODA stands for

J...ava O...bject O...riented D...evelopment A...pplication It is written in 100% pure Java (1.3) and aims to be a nice little Java IDE. Currently it is in an early stage of development.

The main difference between Jooda and other IDEs is the Class-Browser.
