Rectangular commands means commands that can work on rectangular blocks of text, for example columns.

There are several kinds of operations you might do this:
- MoveRectangle?
- CopyRectangle?
- CutRectangle?
- FilterRectangle? (applying a function over every line in a rectangle -- like Unix filters/pipes).
- InsertRectangle?
- InsertAtRectangle
- PasteRectangle?
- MathRectangle (like adding up columns of numbers)
- OverlayRectangle? (like PasteRectangle? but overstriking rather than inserting)
- SortRectangle
