TED Notepad is a free replacement for Windows Notepad. It has a number of fascinating features, which include searching for two terms at the same time, searching over two lines at once, 9 clipboards for saved text, smart indentation, proper handling of Unicode and UTF-8 files, keyboard and command remapping, advanced filters and line-sorting routines, and more.
Total filesize is 112K and it will easily fit on a floppy disk, ZIP disk, or flash drive, so you can take it from one place to another.
