TED is a tiny editor originally written by Tom Kihlken and published by PC Magazine.

 Author: Tom Kihlken
 Download: http://ibiblio.org/pub/micro/pc-stuff/freedos/files/edit/ted/ted10sx.zip
 Family: TinyEditors
 Platform: MS-DOS
 License: Freeware

It was issued with ASM source. It took all of 3K on disk.

PC Magazine changed the licensing on thier utilities a couple of years back, and required a PC Magazine subscription to access them, so they are no longer freely available from PC Mag's site, but can still be found in other repositories.

Ted spawned a family of its own, as various folks picked up the source and made revisions, leading to Ted 1.1, TedPlus, Ted2, and Ted3.
