The feature known as PersistentBlocks is about the ability to mark blocks of text in the text editor and perform operations on that block without having to re-mark the block each time a new operation is applied. In the MicrosoftFamily of texteditors, the CUA standard dictates that the selected area is unselected after the operation. (is that true?) For example, if you paste text, the pasted text is highlighted. In a persistentBlock mode, it might be. Help!
