MacroLanguages to extend their capabilities are
- EmacsFamily
- IBM Editor Family: (they all use RexxLanguage for macros)
- ICCF - The z/ESA standard editor
- ISPF/PDF - The z/OS standard editor
- RPL? - Roscoe Programming Language
- THE - A clone of XEDIT for Windows, OS-X and UNIX Family systems
- XEDIT - The z/VM CMS standard editor
- X2 - "The Programmer's Editor" for OS/2, Windows, OS-X and UNIX Family systems
- JED - Uses S-langLanguage for macros
